There is not a single politician on that stage that does not want to increase his/her power over you and I and give themselves more control over our lives. The overwhelming number of American people (those who are not obscenely rich) do not want any of the following: perpetual warfare, national ID cards (essentially carrying our papers), implantable chips, North American Union and the dissolution of our borders, giving 4 months worth of wages to government bureaucracy, fiat money, and the list goes on and on. This is because every single one of those issues transfers power from the people, to the government. The direction of the country and government in recent years has people realizing that the government can not run their lives better than they can.
